| Excerpt from the original book: The largest group of refugees from Tarahir, pushed ever deeper into the mountains, stumbles upon an ancient Dwarven outpost and takes refuge in it. This outpost holds one of the fabled Royal Roads, and it is somehow activated, transporting the refugees to the city of Belynar on Cyradon. Having been watchful ever since the fluctuation in the Royal Roads was detected, the Dwarves detect the use of the Royal Road by the refugees.
