Black Dragon

The Black Dragon of Cyradon is a legendary figure who has no specific appearance and conceptions of the creature can vary drastically even between scholars, they are unable to even agree if it is male or female, it simply has no set appearance in the mind of the people of Cyradon, but is just an amorphous embodiment of terror. Parents often say that if their child is naughty, the Black Dragon, or its minions the Wyvern and Nagah, will come for them, in an effort to make them behave. Scholars believe this only strengthens it.

Physical Considerations

No one can agree on even what the Black Dragon is let alone its size. Some speculate it is the most ancient of the Black Dragons, others that it is an embodiment of the evil in the world and by others still that is a powerful mage who has a symbiotic relationship with a sleeping dragon, from whom it draws its power.

Cyradon History

It is believed by scholars that Wyverns and the Nagahs (Lizardmen) were created by the Black Dragon as its minions to stop the Saena and latter the Gryphons amongst others medalling in its affairs. Cults that worship the dragon are widespread across the Madiarian Forest.

Game Statistics

The Black Dragon should be treated as the ultimate evil within a campaign, that is never encountered but whose influence spreads wide and far.
