Article Naming
If you create a new article, please follow the naming convention:
- Capitalize every noun, verb and adjective (but not all this little stuff like prepositions and articles)
- Keep a leading "The" if it's there (as in "The Coliseum"), but note how to categorize a page like that.
Categories
To put an article in a category, use the code [[Category:name of category]]. Please check if the category exists, so we don't end up having 3 different categories that should actually be one.
Also note that we use a hierarchical category system and you should put your article in the most specific of these categories! For example, the article about Belynar is in Category:Cyradon Cities but is not in the Category:Cyradon (but the Category:Cyradon Cities is in Category:Cyradon).
If your article begins with a "The" and you put it in a category, please sort it in without the "The". This is done like this (with "The Coliseum" as an example):
[[Category:Belynar|Coliseum]]
Guidelines for this wiki
There are a few specialties to this wiki because it is an official wiki of ICE and you will make use of their material here and there.
- In main articles (any without a prefix like "Help:" or "Idea:"), only write what can be concluded or deduced from what is officially available. Everything else must happen in a standalone article in the "Idea:"-namespace
- If you want to include the official information on something, do so with this code:
{{ICE_Cyradon|article name}}
or
{{ICE_Blank|article name}}
The first includes an image of the Cyradon book along with a link to ICE's Online Store. The second (ICE_Blank) is just the box. Only ICE and ICE's designated personnel can create Official articles. But anybody may, using these two tags, include them within anything else that they write.
More information regarding the scope of this wiki and your possible role in the world creation can be found in the general help.
