| Excerpt from the original book: Mithra has a very active night sky. Just a little over 12 million miles away is a dense asteroid field that orbits Mithra’s sun. Sometimes these asteroids will collide and send fragments spinning in all directions, even towards Mithra. Those that reach enter Mithra’s atmosphere and fall to the ground are called meteors. Many of these meteorites are made of special materials and substances that are highly magical or have a strong affinity for magic.
